- Scope and Contenton his oath saith as follows; I live at 25 Tavistock Place Bedford, & work for the Bedford Corporation. On Friday 10th inst. I found the clothes , produced, with a [ticket] on them under the old willow tree down the Embankment. I picked them up & took them to the Pumping Station & left them there. Signed with X as his mark. witness Walter Harter Justice of the Peace (adjourned) Rose Dorothea Keane on her oath saith; I live at 73 Goldington Avenue. The prisoner was in my servoce for a short time. She came to me last Monday. I saw her last Thursday about 7:30pm, she was then going, as I thought, to the post office. I next saw her at the hospital. On Thursday morning I had had some conversation with her. It was in reference to a character which had obtained for her the place of nursemaid to me. The clothes, produced, is the uniform I supplied her with. Signed Rose Dorothea Keane Charles T Rolls on his oath saith; I live at 'Wyntham' Newnham Lane Goldington, on 9th February 1911 I was walking down Longholme. I heard a slight splashing which seemed unusual to me. I eventually crossed through the water. I found the prisoner lying on her back under he water with one arm protruding out. I picked her up & got her out. She was sent to the hospital by P C Vintner. Tis was about 8:40 in the evening. Signed Charles Trythall Rolls
