    Gift (i) John Freberne of East Hyde, Luton to (ii) William Ipping, Valentine Bailiff, Robert Taylard, John Perot and William Schetefold all of Luton Property: Of 2 crofts of land: (a) "Rugdellecroft" in "Durhyde Lane" next to the house of William Ipping, with a wood on one side and "Retherhyde Lane" on the other, abutting Freberne Street and Chalk Dell - this latter lying in Hyde Field enfeoffed to the said Valentine Bailiff and Robert Taylard, as well as Fremund atte Hoo, John Taylard, John Lawele, John Lammare and John Schepey all of Luton, by John Freberne who discharges all rights to Chalk Dell which he is due to claim following the death of William atte Felde. (b) "Eldernecroft" in the same place and with the same appurtenances. Witnesses: John Taylard, Robert Howe, Hugo Aylemer, William Park(e), John Smith and others. 1 Seal - appears to show the letters "RR".
