    (i) as trustees put freehold lands of James Barber up for sale on 9 Jul last and (iii) was highest bidder for part of the lands now in consideration of £42 paid to (i) with consent of James Barber (i) releases to (iii) ... pieces of arable in common fields of Clifton (1 acre 31 perches) ... arable (2 roods 4 perches) South Simpson Anderson, in the occupation of John Arch junior North George Edwards, in the occupation of James Handscomb, shooting up to land in the occupation of Samuel Billin North West gravel pit in the occupation of John Arch junior ... arable shooting down to Stanford and up to Broadway Joint (1 rood 7 perches) West Mr Brooks in the occupation of William Green East Simpson Anderson in the occupation of John Arch junior ... arable called Middle Shot in East Field (1 rood 20 perches) East & West --- in the occupation of Mrs Wilkinson North West abutting down to Broadway South East Narrow Way once in the possession of Samuel Poynton, then of Thomas and James Bower covenant to levy fine, to bar dower of Mary Bower etc., (iv) having become purchaser of messuage in Shefford, with tanyards, which are of greater value than said premises and other land, the deeds have been delivered to him.
