My Lord,
I should like to point out to you that when I was released from Prison last May, I came out with every intention of going straight. I got myself a situation within the first week and but for the influence of a fellow whom I was acquainted with should have still been there. If you would like to know more about it, my Lord, I do not mind telling you, but otherwise I will keep silent, as I do not want you to think that I want to put the blame upon others for my being here.
