Minute Book - Includes a draft copy of the Film Society Constitution as well as notes of the AGM's and Executive Committee Meetings for the dates given as well as related newspaper clippings stuck where possible with the relevant subjects they refer to.
Further material refers to plans for a film c. 1951 on the River Ouse and locks between Bedford and Tempsford involving the society - this included setting up a production unit. Includes reports of the Production Unit Comittee for this film 1951-4. The film was ultimately titled "River Highway" was released in 1954.
Also includes the first three Annual Reports of the society - 1951-4.
