    reciting the death of the Reverend Thomas Gadsby, late of Bedford, clerk, and his will dated 1 Feb 1840, in which will he devised: ... all that pasture or grass land in Bedford St Paul, with buildings to his cousin the said John Coventry Campion Conveyance ... two closes of pasture (formerly in 3 pieces) lying together in the parish of Bedford St Paul containing 2 acres 2 roods 39 perches bounded North by Lucks Lane, part East by ground of Thomas Wooldridge purchased by him of Thomas Gadsby and on the other part by ground formerly Richard Furness, now Trustees of the Old Meeting, and South by Mill Street, formerly Mill Lane, on part of the West by the outbuildings belongong to the several messuages of George Robert Skene erected upon ground purchased of Thomas Gadsby, and on the remaining parts of the West and North by land late of John Cooke and now of the Duke of Bedford Plan in margin
