    Reciting - (a)-(g) below were in possession of (iii) by virtue of a bargain and sale for 5/- for a year commencing 21 Dec 1719 and by indenture of 28 Feb 1719 [1720] made between Mary Tuffnail and (iii); - settlement of 29 Feb 1719 [1720] between (i) Nicholas Blick the father, (ii) Nicholas Blick the son and Mary Tuffnail, (iii) John Alford, William Midford, Francis Brace and Grey Arnald before a marriage between Mary Tuffnail and Nicholas Blick the son; - mortgage of 20 Mar 1717[1718] for £1,000 of manor of Houghton Conquest from Benedict Conquest, esquire to Mary Tuffnail; - bond of 29 Sep 1711 for £260 from Mary Baker, widow and Thomas Baker, yeoman to John Tuffnail, deceased to secure a loan of £130, of which £20 remained unpaid; - note of Edward Blacknoe of 26 Mar 1712 [1713] acknowledging his debt of £20 to John Tuffnail; - obligation of John Bernard of 20 Jan 1713 [1714] for £200 to secure a loan of £100; - obligation of Richard Savell of 29 Sep 1713 for £80 to secure a loan of £40; - bond of Henry Blackno[e] and John Bla[c]kno[e] of 9 Jun 1715 to John Tuffnail for £200 to secure a loan of £100; - John Tuffnail has since died leaving a will of which Mary Tuffnail was executrix; - obligation of Edward Somerly of 15 Nov 1715 to Mary Tuffnail of £100 to secure a loan of £50, of which £30 remained outstanding; - obligation of Lewis Monoux, esquire, of 8 Apr 1714 to Mary Tuffnail of £100 to secure a loan of £50; - obligation of William Harvey senior and William Harvey junior of 16 May 1719 to Mary Tuffnail of £300 to secure a loan of £150; - it was agreed that mortgage and bonds and all monies from them should be assigned to (iii) in trust Witnessing - (i) conveyed to (iii) in trust the mortgage and bonds described in the above recitals and all monies from them - (i) conveyed to (iii) in trust for uses declared in the marriage settlement: (a) messuage in Wroxhill, Marston Moretain formerly in occupation of Nicholas Price deceased; (b) Home Close, close called Coverhill, close called Plowed Hill, 2 acres of sward lying in a close called Ridgeway Close, close called Holy Orchard, close now or lately divided into two parts called Newbolds, close called Long Croft with an adjoining coppice of wood, Horse Close, close called Inings Pightell all in Wroxhill and Marston Moretain and were purchased from William Smith, gentleman, by Nicholas Price, late father of Nicholas Price; (c) 63 acres of arable and leys in common fields of Wroxhill and Marston Moretain; (d) 6/1/- purchased by Nicholas Price senior from Anne Impey and Thomas Impey; 3 acres of land purchased from Roger Price; 1 acre purchased from Gilbert Stoughton, gentleman all devised in the will of Nicholas Price senior to Nicholas Price junior; (e) close of pasture called Over Ravensden, a close called Middle Ravensden, close called Ridgeway Close, close called Perry Hill; 48 acres of land and ley ground in common fields of Marston Moretain, i.e. 21 acres in Sexhill Field, 27 acres in Wroxhill Field purchased from Catherine Pauley, widow and Thomas Cox all of which were late the estate of Nicholas Price junior and in occupation of Richard Sawell, Nicholas Price junior giving them to John Tuffnail; (f) cottage in Wootton late in occupation of John Shaw [see X458/9/1]; (g) close of pasture in Wootton in occupation of William Cumberland abutting on Leach Green to East, a cottage and pightle of Praise Noell lying on one side and the lane leading to Wood End Green on the other [see X458/9/1] Witnesses: Ed.
