  • Scope and Content
Moved to Bridlington, Yorkshire at age 2, then about a year later to Abbots Langley, so childhood memories are from there. Memories of playing football, cycling, brother's scooter. Memories of school; felt picked on; found it hard to interact with other pupils. Bit of a loner. Was an imaginative child; enjoyed drawing and creative writing. Camping holidays; visiting Aunt in Folkestone. Childhood friends. Father was a printer, then became a full time artist and illustrator. Relationships with parent and brother. Relationship with animals. Went to university to study art and graphic design. Dod not feel very happy there. Had a succession of jobs. Made redundant from last job and started doing up bicycles and selling the. This led to a job with Sustrans [United Kingdom-based walking, wheeling and cycling charity, and the custodian of the National Cycle Network]. Has been doing this for about a year. When at University when to the USA for a three month placement. Also lived in Thailand for a couple of years and worked as a teacher. Has also moved around the country a bit before coming to Luton. Comments about Thailand and America. Challenges of travelling. Enjoyed playing music. General philosophy of life.
