On 1st July 1912 he was convicted at the Quarter Sessions of the Peace in the Borough of Newark that he did feloniously steal an overcoat valued at one pound fifteen shillings the property of Frederick Thomas Warren. Also for a previous conviction asThomas Pugh on 6th April 1912 in Derby. He was imprisoned in Lincoln and kept at hard labour for 9 months Given under my hand this 20th March 1913 Godfrey Tallents, clerk of the Peace.
