The Letter reads; Dear Sirs, I am much obliged for your letter of 23rd inst. and have noted the information given. With regard to precedent in the matter of the deputation, I might point out that the Justices of Bedford Borough received a deputation of Bedford Brewers 28th January 1910. Also, the Buckinghamshire Brewers Association have arranged a scheme for a voluntary levy for compensation and reduction of licences with the Justices of that county, which has worked well in 1911, 1912 and 1913, no offical levy being made.
