Article about Quenby Price Limited, Agricultural Merchants. The business was set up by farmer Richard Quenby (b. 1830) in Houghton Conquest when he started to bring in excess feedstuffs, etc. and sell to his neighbours. In 1910 R. Quenby & Sons were first registered as millers when they took a lease on Bromham Mill. They later moved to the site of the old Army depot and station at Turvey. In 1964 they became Quenby Price Limited. The company was taken over by BOCM.
