Title
Notes on Diamond Foundry, Luton. Langley Foundry was established in Langley Street, Luton in 1895. It amalgamated with the Davis Gas Stove Company of Falkirk in 1907 and a new foundry was built in Dallow Road, c. 1906. In World War 2 the factory switched from making gas stoves to grenades. It was taken over by Jackson Industries after the war and made electrical appliances. Jackson Industries closed the works in Dallow Road in 1962.
