Consideration £84 All that piece of land situate in the parish of Dunstable and on the northeast side of and adjoining a road there called Victoria Road ... and which piece of land is part of an estate which was offered for sale by auction by W Whittingham at the Saracens Head, Dunstable on 3 December 1862 in 132 lots according to printed particulars and a lithographed plan published therwith in which the said piece of land constituted Lots 32 to 35 both inclusive. 17 July 1875 - Indenture between: 1) Samuel Ancell then of 14 Idonia Street, Deptford, Kent, engineer 2) William Webb of 23 Hammers Road, Guildford Road, Greenwich, printer, John Stone of 90 South Street, Greenwich, engineer Henry Benjamin Willan of 10 Wellington Grove, Greenwich Road, Greenwich, engineer Trustees of the Royal Men of Kent Lodge No 2659 of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Manchester Unity Friendly Society at Greenwich. Agreement for mortgage of £400 secured by above piece of land 27 February 1896 Statutory receipt by Trustees (2) above of all monies owed on mortgage. 25 March 1896 - Indenture between: 1) Samuel Ancell, then of 100 St Donatt's Road, New Cross, London, engineer 2) John Sydney Batchelor of 16 The Grove, Blackheath, London, engineer Agreement for mortgage of £300 secured by above piece of land together with the 6 cottages erected upon the said piece or part of the said piece of land and numbered 101 - 106 Victoria Street, Dunstable.
