To the clerk of the Peace, for the County of Bedford. Sir, we hereby give you notice of our intention to apply for the renewal of the Licence for Springfield House, Bedford at the ensuing Michaelmas Quarter Sessions. William Scott Bower and Miss Mary Ballars intending to reside therein. We have append a list of the names, numbers and class of the patient at present detained here as required by the Commissioners rules under the Lunacy Act 1890.
