    Mortgage 1) John Langridge of Dunstable, Bedfordshire, gentleman 2) Lewis White of Dunstable, Bedfordshire, butcher Frederick Field of Dunstable, Bedfordshire, straw hat manufacturer James Hutchins of Dunstable, Bedfordshire, baker Trustees for the Court Unity for the Dunstable district. Numbered 4799 Ancient Order of Foresters duly established under the Friendly Societies Acts Consideration: 2) to 1) £650 All that piece of land situate on the South side of Church Street in the Borough of Dunstable in the county of Bedford (the greater part thereof having been formerly part of a close known as Englands Close) having a width of 120 feet and a depth of 100 feet. Together with the six cott[ag]es standing on the said piece of ground and numbered 30 to 35 inclusive in the said Street which said cottages have lately been improved and enlarged by the said (1). Distinguished by the colour pink on the plan drawn in the margin of a certain indenture of convenance dated 25 September 1878 between Edward Anthony Cumberland and Frederick Howell of the one part and the said 1) of the other part. All those two mess[uag]es or dwellinghouses on the north side of Church Street in the borough of Dunstable and numbered 79 & 80 in the same said Street now in the occupations of Messrs Marshall and Cook. And all those four mess[uag]es or cott[ag]es and premises adjoining the last mentioned mess[uag]es and numbers 75, 76, 77 & 78 in Church Street now in the occupation of Messrs Weller, Fensome and others. All that piece or parcel of ground used as a garden situated in the rear of the premises secondly and thirdly described [numbers 75 - 80] and occupied therewith and which premises herewith are shown in the plan drawn on a certain indenture of conveyance dated 7 October iest made between Maria Pratt of the first part, William Pratt and Joseph Pratt of the second part and (1) of the third part and therein coloured pink.
