    I Francis Ogden Clerk of the Peace for the City of Manchester in the County of Lancaster and having the custody of the Records of the Courts of General Quarter Sessions of the Peace holden in and for the said City DO HEREBY CERTIFY that at the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace holden at Manchester in and for the said City on the twenty second day of July in the of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Eight. Christopher Gerrity was duly convicted upon an Indictment then and there depending on having on the nineteenth day of June in the year aforesaid at the City aforesaid feloniously broken and entered the dwelling house of Herbert Tindall and feloniously stolen therein two clocks one […] one […] one butter dish, one coat, one vest, one pair of trousers, ten shirts, one dressing gown and one muffler of the property of the said Herbert Tindall and having been before convicted of felony and that the said Christopher Gerrity was thereupon ordered for the said offence to be imprisoned and kept to hard labour for Twelve Calendar months which said conviction still remains in full force and not reversed or made void. Given under my hand this eighth day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand Nine Hundred and Nine. Signed Francis Ogden
