The deposition of John Ashurst of Luton, acting surveyor for the said Borough taken on oath before William Richards Philips and Robert Smith Tomson Esquires , two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the Borough of Luton on 6th March 1905

This deposition refers to the stopping up and diversion of the footpath known as Butlins Footpath as viewed by the said Justices 9th February last. That the measurements, where the new path crosses land owned by Francis Crawley have been agreed and consent given in writing marked 'A2'. as QSR1905/2/10/2f. He mentions a certified copy of the minutes marked 'B' as QSR1905/2/10/2/g and a printed notice marked 'C' as QSR1905/2/10//2/h, copies of which are to be published in the local newspaper and affixed to the door at Biscot Parish Church and the door of Christ Church, and a letter marked 'H' as QSR1905/2/10/2e from T H Woodcock as agent for Francis Crawley.
