Letter from Royds Rawstone & Co. to WW Marks, Clerk of the Peace for Bedford. Gribble to Farr, Sale of Old Field Farm. Mr Thomas Farr has purchased Old Field Farm in Henlow. There is a Corn Rent of £182 charged upon the land he has purchased together with some land formerly belonging to Mr Henry Trethewy. Mr Farr is desirous of making an application to the September Quarter Session to have arbitrators appointed in accordance with the Henlow Enclosure Act n order to reassess the value. An application was made last on 9th April 1890, On that occasio a copy of the Notice to the Vicar signed by the applicants wassent to you. We therefore enclose a copy of a notice to the present vicar signed by Mr Farr of his intention to apply for a reassessment of the Corn Rent. dated 1st June 1908
