Vagaries of Rectory tennis court, then being reinstated where present Rectory now stands. Was producing a play with Church Youth Group. but cast sloped off to Zonita [cinema], so it was abandoned. Bedford Modern School Field Day 'Pacifist Society' deputation's confrontation with JET [John Edward Taylor, headmaster of Bedford Modern School]. JET's confrontation with Pete & David Hempsall in gym changing room. Bill Lark's misfortune to fall into a cow pat in the park whilst playing rounders in his best Bedford School Sunday suit (very graphic). Youth Group Scandals.
