Letter to Ena Mary Underwood from Andrew Underwood, MV Empire Pride. Asks 'do you rernember that little village in the Walberswick area where we had to cross a plank bridge, & lots of ducks waddled down the main street ... It's the sort of place I would expect to find my 'derelict cottage' as you call it. Go there again .... & report to me. [Probably Dunwich.] Had second night of concert 'a terrific success', but now in a 'monsoon or something' Bought some black elephants with ivory [sic] trunks in Colombo.
