- Scope and ContentGeorge Lawson on the 27th December 1906 one Emma Crouch unlawfully and indecently did assault and her the said Emma Crouch did beat, wound, and illtreat, and other wrongs to the said Emma Crouch did to the great damage of the said Emma Crouch against the form of the Statute in such case made and provided and against the Peace of Lord the King his Crown and Dignity. Plea: Not Guilty. Verdict: Guilty. Sentence: 4 Moths Hard Labour. 2nd Count. And the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid, do further present that the said George Lawson on the day aforesaid in the year aforesaid in and upon the said Emma Crouch did make an assault and her the said did then beat, wound, and illtreat, and other wrongs to the said Emma Crouch then did to the great damage of the said Emma Crouch against the Peace of our Lord the King his Crown and Dignity.
