    Recites that William Stevens of Sutton, clerk had purchased of Anne Brotherton, one of the daughters and coheirs of Martha Brotherton one of the three sisters and coheirs of Thomas Fickis one of the customary tennants of the manor of Sutton the fifth part of the third part of one messuage thirty acres by estimation of land five acres and a half by estimation of meadow and half an acre of pasture with their appurtenances in possession and also the fifth part of the third part of one other messuage thirty acres of land four acres and a half by estimation of meadow & half an acres of pasture with their appurtanences in reversion expectant upon the death of Anne Fickis widow and also of John Allen & Anne his wife Thomas Thompson & Johan his wife All their third part in possession of one messuage thirty acres of land and four acres and a half of meadow and half an acre of pasture with their appurtenances expectant after the death of Anne Fickis which do descend unto them as coheirs of Mary Usher who was one of the three sisters and coheirs of the said Thomas Fickis And also of Alice Brotherton widow All that third part of one messuage thirty acres of land five aces and a half of meadow and half an acre of pasture in her possession and also the third part of one messuage thirty acres of land four acres of meadow and half an acre of pasture with the appurtenances in Sutton aforesaid in reversion expectant after the death of Anne Fickis widow late wife of the said Thomas Fickis and also of George Newold [?] and Elizabeth his wife Mary Brotherton spinster Robert Huckle & Martha his wife & Frances Brotherton spinster all their third part of one messuage 30 acres land, 5 and half of meadow and half an acre of pasture in Sutton in possession and in reversion expectant on the death of Anne Fickis unto which premises at a court holden for the mannor of Sutton on 27 July 1668 by Sir Roger Burgoyne Knight & Baronett Lord of the Mannor aforesaid the said William Stevems was admitted. Now William Stevens releases to Sir Roger Burgoyne. Signed and sealed by Will Steevens.
