    Transcripts of letters from Joseph Franklin and William Hoppus to the Poor Law Commissioners asking for relief. Mr Hoppus had been the Heyward at Thurleigh until the position was recently removed from him and proposed to be given to Mr Franklin. However the Justices at Bletsoe Petty sessions had declined to confirm this. Mr Hoppus had now only income from the post on which he could not subsist.
