    1) Elizabeth Rogers of Bedford, widow, Joseph Gutteridge of Dunstable, farmer and Richard Barton of Toddington, draper. 2) Levi Croson of Ampthill, carrier and draper. 3) Thomas Greene of Ampthill, auctioneer. Recites: - will of John Rogers made 26 Jan 1849 appointing his wife Elizabeth, Joseph Gutteridge and Richard Barton executors and trustees and granting to his executors All that messuage or tenement situate in Ampthill wherein the testator did then dwell on trust to sell. - death of John Rogers on or about the 24 June 1849 and the proving of his will in the Prerogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury on 6th August 1849. - executors have contracted to sell to Levi Croson. Consideration £380. 1) conveys to 2) All that messuage or tenement in Ampthill erected and built by one William Hickman upon the site of a messuage formerly in the tenure or occupation of Sarah Fookes and afterwards of Laurence Humberstone and which said erected messuage was formerly in the occupation of Walter Borlase afterwards of John Morris the younger since of Thomas Brace Stone then of Mary Stone his widow since of the said John Rogers deceased late of Joseph Mead Rogers and now of the said Levi Croson and is a corner house in Ampthill next to Bedford Street a messuage or tenement formerly of the said Thomas Brace Stone since of the said John Rogers deceased and now of the said Joseph Mead Rogers standing and being on the east part thereof and which said messuage was purchased by John Rogers deceased of William Stone and includes that portion thereof now forming part of the shop adjoining and now in the occupation of the said Levi Croson or his undertenant George Rushbrooke.
