Examinations & depositions - Information of Thos. Line, Marston, victualler; fire broke out in his barn and several barrels of beer were put into the yard and close. Beer was given to the helpers at the fire from barrels in the close but some apeared to be missing from barrels in the yar. He caused Dan. Keep to be apprehended. Information of Wm. Barker, Marston, labr.; left to see the fire did not break out again, saw Keep with a pail three parts full of beer, later saw him go in the direction of his house with the pail. Examination of Dan. Keep; denies taking the beer.
