Examinations & depositions - Information of Chas. Goode, Ampthill, constable and Jn. Greene, Ampthill, gent; adds nothing to 316. Information of Wm. Gibbs, Half Moon, Chelsea, Middx, agent to Thomas Gibbs, proprietor of the nursery. He had gone back to London a week previously after spending two months in Ampthill putting the nursery in complete order. White was working in the nursery when he first came down but he did not satisfy him in the way he did his work and he asked him 'to look for another place'; he left the nursery a few days after saying he was going to London. White knew which were the best plants and that those with the highest numbers were of greatest value.
