Took out a search warrant for three houses in Wilstead; identified hay found in hampers in the house of John Sims as his. Information of Joseph Izzard, Clophill, labourer; informed by John Tuffnell, Wilstead, that his master, John Low, had lost hay from Wilstead Tithe Closes. Found the track of a man from the fields to the premises of John SIms. Information of William Whitamore, Wilstead, constable; similar to foregoing two. Examination of John Sims; denies stealing the hay.
