Examinations & depositions - Statement signed by William Darnell similar to QSR1818/320, but says that Smith jumped over a hedge and escaped. Also the three men just prior to their capture threw away a bundle. William Darnell 'with candle & lanthorn searched the place' but apparently found nothing.
