- TitleInformation of Robert Earl of Holwell, occupier of the Red Lion public house. Joseph Bland, John Dear, William Chamberlain, William Kilby and William Cobb, labourers, all of Shillington 'with much noise and riot and threats' threw down and broke to pieces a board fixed to the wall of his house on which was inscribed his name as keeper of the public house. The also broke wood palings contiguous to his house. They had been drinking in the house for seven hours and he had at last refused to draw them any more beer.
