- Scope and ContentThe footmarks in both gardens agreed. Suspecting John Dowdy they removed his shoes and found they fitted the footmarks. John Webb, constable, Mr William Franklin, Mr Geoffrey Hawkins and George Mark were all of the opinion that they were the same shoes that made the marks 'from tree to tre in the orchard.'
