Examination of Francis Snooks of Woburn, joiner. After the races lost a silk handkerchief from his pocket on the Race Meadow, Bedford. Suspected George Mees of Wootton, labourer of picking his pocket. he and Thomas Craft of Bedford, constable, followed and searched Mees and found the handkerchief and 8 others on him. Examination of Thomas Craft.
