- TitleInformation of Thomas Richardson of Baldock, Hertfordshire, constable. Patrick Murnin informed him in Baldock High Street that he had lost two pieces of cloth while travelling on the 'Boston Van' from New Inn toll bar to Biggleswade, and described two young men he suspected. They both went to the Greyhound at New Inn toll bar. After waiting some time James Burrett and Joseph Bailey came in. After questioning and searching, Burrett produced the cloth in the middle of a bag of water cresses, Murnin identified the cloth. Examination of prisoners; Burrett said he found it on the road.
