Richard Wade of Eaton Socon, stonemason. Returning from work at Cockayne Hatley he found the box containing his clothes had been broken open and the contents missing. Later saw Thomas Browning wearing a pair of his trousers.
Jackson Stocker Wade, wife of William Wade and mother of Richard. Found the box, normally kept upstairs, in the garden with only a pair of boots and a chisel left in it..
