Information of Charlotte Whitbread: Served Sarah, wife of Thomas Stapleton with a 'pennyworth of liver and a pennyworth of suit. [suet?]' Imediately after Sarah Stapleton had left she missed a piece of mutton. She sent her husband after Stapleton.Information of Henry Whitbread: overtook Stapleton near Mr Small's house; he took her back to his shop where she produced the mutton from under her cloak.
