    Information of William Wonfor of Ampthill, innkeeper and victualler. He lost several liquor glasses and mugs; he was in the habit of writing his name on them. William Webster of Markfield, Leicestershire, licensed hawker of earthenware, offered one for sale to Daniel Wilshire of Ampthill, publican.Information of Daniel Wilshire; sent for Winfor when the glass was offered for sale. Webster pointed out the cottage 'on the hill' and the person, Mary Briggs, from whom he had bought the glass.Information of William Webster. He was trying to sell earthenware when Mary Briggs offered him two glasses for 2/-. She took 1/- for them.Information of Mary Briggs of Ampthill, spinster. She went into the house of William Wonfor with WilliamKempson of Houghon Conquest, labourer. Kempson put the glass into his pocket and after accompanying her back to her father's house gave her the glass with another one he 'had upon him.' She sold them to Webster.
