  • Title
Examination of William Chapman of Great Barford, labourer. He is the servant of Thomas Emery and was employed in thrashing and dressing wheat. He informed his master of the loss of a sack of tail wheat from the barn. A few days later he found that wheat which he had swept up into a smooth heap had been scattered and disturbed, and about 3 bushels taken. He believes that the wheat and sack found at Blunham (see QSR1824/416) are the same.
