  • Title
    Deposition of Isaac Woodward of Stratford, Sandy, farmer. Was on his way back to work on Biggleswade common when he saw two men with a parcel which he suspected contained his tools, He called out to them and they ran off; he followed and overtook them but when he caught them the parcel had disappeared. The told him to go and look for the parcel and refused to help him find it. When he did find it he found that it was an apron containing three freshly killed ducks. He identified John Carrington and George Denis as the men. Information of Elizabeth, wife of William Housden of Biggleswade; she identifies the ducks as her property; she let them out between 12 noon and 1.00pm. Examination of John Carrington and George Denis; they knew nothing about the ducks.
