    1) Joseph Sibthorpe of The Admiral Blake Turnham Green, carpenter, John Sibthorpe of Notting Hill, licensed victualler 2) George Hickford Sibthorpe of Dunstable, butcher, Eli Sibthorpe of Dunstable butcher, Joseph Sibthorpe formerly of Dunstable but now residing in Australia butcher, John Thomas West of Louth, Lincs, grocer and Mary his wife, Erskine Evans of Islington and Victoria Elizabeth his wife, Sarah Sibthorpe of New Wandsworth, spinster, Emma Sibthorpe of Dunstable spinster and Ruth Sibthorpe of Louth, spinster. 3) John SIbthorpe of Dunstable butcher. Recites: - the will of Eli Sibthorpe late of Dunstable, butcher, deceased. - that John Sibthorpe carried on his father’s business. - that Eli Sibthorpe left nine children living namely George Hickford Sibthorpe, Eli Sibthorpe, John Sibthorpe, Joseph Sibthorpe, Mary West (married to John West 20 July 1860), Victoria Elizabeth Evans (married to Erskine Evans 26 December 1870), Sarah Sibthorpe, Emma Sibthorpe and Ruth Sibthorpe. - 1) sold to 3) the fee simple in possession of the hereditament for £500. 1) grants to 3) all that messuage or tenement in Middle Row Dunstable formerly in the occupation of Richard Row then of the said Eli Sibthorpe deceased and now the said John Sibthorpe the son bounded on or towards the north by a messuage or inn known as the Rose and Crown on or towards the South by a messuage or Inn known as the Shoulder of Mutton and on or towards the east by High Street and on or towards the west by Ashton Street and also that slaughter house with the yard and appurtenances thereto belonging situate and being in a street formerly called Moordike Lane afterwards known as South Place and now called St Mary’s Street Dunstable bounded on or towards the north by the said street on or towards the south by property belonging to the trustees of the Wesleyan Chapel on or towards the east by property of Mrs Oliver and on or towards the west by a barn formerly belonging to the said Eli Sibthorpe deceased but now the property of James Tibbett.
