Examinations and depositions. Information of Thomas Butcher, bailiff to John Palmer, Red Hills, Toddington. Between midnight and one o’clock, he was called up by his master who informed him that a barn had been broken open and wheat stolen. He identified the men as John Monk, Daniel Randall and Thomas Garner; after a chase Randall was caught and brought back to Toddington and placed in the cage.
