Examination of William Dawson of Bedford, victualler. He purchased the furniture of Robert Woodham of Elstow, but agreed to let him have the use of it as long as he thought proper. Hearing the goods were stolen, he went to Woodham’s house and found in ‘nearly stripped of every article.’ He cannot swear to anything.
