Scope and Content
Further evidence of Robert Shimmen of Colmworth, husbandman. Lost three elm boards from his barn and heard that they were at Lawrence Brawn’s house. Brawn’s wife showed him two boards which Brawn gave him on his return home.
Information of Lawrence Brawn of Colmworth, miller. Lent his horse to Levi Stewart junior of Colmworth, but would not accept payment for the loan. Stewart gave him the two pieces of board.
Information of Lebbeus Murfin of Little Staughton, carpenter. Identifies the boards as those he has previously cut for Mr Shimmen.
