Good weather for gardening. Duke of York at Halton to open new aerodrome. Mr Piggott asked Elsie if she had her courtesy ready. Gossip about Billie and Girlie and the sale of the brewery. Hedges started poultry keeping but that is given up now. Young Terry (Weeden Hill) has gone off with some money. New shop open Reed at Aston has it Caton manages the butcher’s shop & they have formed a small company. Another between the two is not occupied yet. Harold has a bicycle for Christmas
