    Examinations and depositions. Examination of William Wittamore of Clophill, labourer. He met Richard Summerfield in the Compasses who asked him to go with him to the wood. They went onto the barn 'in the shepherd's close and met William Rowlett, John Hide, William Lincoln, John Robinson, William Harbrow, Christopher Wilmore, Allen Odel, Thomas Brazier, William Gayler and some others.' Four of the above with James Titmus had guns. He voluntarily surrendered himself to Thomas Hill, keeper to Countess de Gray.
