  • Title
    Examinations and depositions: Thomas Kipput, Great Barford, constable. Apprehended Philip Betts on suspicion of being an accessory in the robbery as in QSR1819/304. Betts acknowledged that he was with John Goodman when the boards were taken. Goodman went into the yard and handed them over to Betts who put them in Goodman's barn. Before his acknowledgement Mr Baker said to him 'If you will tell us the truth it will be all the better for you, we will do all that lies in our power for you.'
