    Examinations and depositions: examination of Abraham Burr, Wilstead, baker as in QSR1819/297. He recieved a blow from the fist of Arnold which cut his lip. They 'threatened to do for us all when they got their liberty, which they exected to have shortly - and they said so again when they were in custody at the public house'. Arnold denied using such threats but 'Burr say positively' both the prisoners used the same threats of doing for us all, pointing out each individually and calling by nick names. Examination of John Cranfield. 'We were going to Houghton to see our sweethearts - we had no scuffle with the constable, but Crozely jumped up and said halloo and shot me.' Examination of John Arnold. He and John Cranfield had heard some men had gone with club sticks to watch the honey; they saw somebody in the hedge. Mr Crozely called after them, some men endeavoured to stop them but they broke away from them, then Mr Crozely fired at them and wounded Cranfield. He knew nothing about the honeybut what he heard.
