Scope and Content
He was given a lift in Bonfield's cart from Wootton to the Cherry Tree Inn, Bedford, where Seaton got hopelessly drunk.
They proceeded to Fenlake where Bonfield put Seaton and his bundle by the roadside, having taken his purse from his pocket (for safety??).
Later Larkins took him to his house till he was more sober (sic). Next day he accused Samuel Bonfield, who denied stealing his purse and hat but later gave them to him.
