Examinations and depositions: Sarah Cripps, servant of Thomas Coats, Dunstable, inn holder. She missed a sheet from an apartment in his house and suspected a soldier and his wife. John Franklin, Dunstable, constable was sent after the suspects. Exmination of William Parks. Does not know how the sheet came to be in his bundle. Examination of William Osborn, Dunstable, wheelwright who was called in by John Franklin to assist in conveying two prisoners before a Justice. The woman said that she put the sheet in the bundle but she was not the only person concerned. Examination of the woman who gave her name as 'Jane Kelly' but said she was not married.
