    [reciting: that £162..17s..6d will be due Michaelmas next to Sir Ralph Radcliffe for rent of messuage & farm, Wilstead, which is leased by John Dunham. Samuel Dunham to be security for payment & performance of their agreements] Sir Ralph Radcliffe may enter on premises immediately to plough fallow. John Dunham to quit at Christmas leaving the premises in good order, not to remove manure, to be allowed 4/6 [per] acre for land ploughed, out of the rent, and to fold the fallow with a flock of sheep, and to have allowed out of the rent 4d per night for every 20 sheep, (after Midsummer 2 lambs = 1 sheep). Thomas Rayment, Cockernhoe, Offley, yeoman & Joseph Cotten, Chicksands, yeoman, to assess the value of the manure and whether the ploughing has been done properly, or else an arbitrator is to be appointed.
