    [reciting: John Manley purchased the manor of West Cotton and other lands and tenements in Wilstead, and that (i) were jointly seized of the premises with him during his lifetime reciting: 25 Aug 1655, John Manley declared in writing that after his death (i) should dispose of the premises to certain uses, and that they should convey to Mary, wife of John Manley, and to Richard, 2nd son of John Manley, and to his heirs, the farm house and homestall in the occupation of Lewes Albon, Mocks close, the Horse pasture, Palmer's close, both the Middle fields, the Monck's field and all arable lands in Cook's backside, 2 1/2 acres Mumbury field, and 32 acres Windmill field, provided that Richard Manley paid to Martha, one of the daughters of John Manley £250 when she came of age, and £250 to Cecelie, another daughter of John Manley when of age, if Richard Manley died defore he came of age, then William Manley who had the reversion of the lands was to pay the same] Agreed: that if Richard Manley dies before his coming of age before he has secured the two sums of £250 to his sisters, then if (ii) within 3 months of death of Richard Manley gives security for payment, then (i) will convey the lands to (ii) if (ii) fails to mortgage moiety of the farm above to person/s nominated by (i) within these 3 months to secure £500 to his sisters, then (i) may alienate as much of the premises as is necessary to raise the same, and convey the remainder to (ii) (ii) agrees that the costs of performing the trusts shall be charged on the premises now occupied by Mary & Richard Manley. witnesses.
