Consideration £12. - All that piece of garden ground situate at Pegsden in the parish of Shillington bounded on the north by the High Road leading from Hitchin to Shillington and extending on that side 40 feet four inches on the west by land of George Burr and extending on that side 55 feet 3 inches on the south by land of Mr Daniel Davis and extending on that side 42 feet 9 inches and on the east by land of -----------Musgrove esq and extending on that side 62 feet and containing 8 poles 26 years and 4 feet. Signed with the mark of Caleb Allen. Plan. Endorsed with receipt for £12 and with witness statement 'Caleb Allen, the same having been first read over and explained to him by me and he seemed perfectly to understand...'
